A refrigerator is provided with: a box body formed of an outer housing and an inner housing, and having a back wall and side walls; a storage chamber which is formed by the division of the inside of the box body by partition walls, and which has an opening in the front; a drawer-type case that is housed in the storage chamber and is drawn out via rail members provided on the side walls of the storage chamber; a vacuum insulation material which is formed from a fibrous material with a core material comprising organic/inorganic fibers, and which is arranged between the inner housing and the outer housing which form the side wall whereon the rail member is provided; and an insulation material filled into the space between the inner housing, which is located in a position facing the rail member, and the vacuum insulation material. The insulation material located in the position facing the rail member has a thickness of less than 10mm, and the insulation material filled into the space between the vacuum insulation material and the inner housing of the rail member has a density greater than 60kg/m³. |
