The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing an eyeglass lens comprising a multilayer vapor deposition film directly or indirectly on a lens substrate, which comprises preparing the multilayer vapor deposition film by: forming a first, a second, a third, a fourth, a fifth, a sixth, and a seventh layer each by vapor deposition with a vapor deposition source comprising a main component in the form of SiO 2 , Ta 2 O 5 or ZrO 2 , SiO 2 , Ta 2 O 5 or ZrO 2 , SiO 2 , Ta 2 O 5 or ZrO 2 , and SiO 2 , respectively, wherein the multilayer vapor deposition film sequentially comprises, from the lens substrate side, the first to the seventh layer, the eyeglass lens comprises the multilayer vapor deposition film on both an object-side surface and an eyeball-side surface of the lens substrate, and a reflectance relative to all light rays within 420 to 450 nm wavelength range on an object-side surface and on an eyeball-side surface of the eyeglass lens ranges from 3 to 8 percent. |
