PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional code which allows much confidential information to be stored therein without limiting the data volume of public information.SOLUTION: At least partial cells are defined as extended calles 2b subdivided like a matrix by sub-cells 10 finer than the cells, and each extended cell 2b is configured so that sub-pixels 10 in at least a prescribed proportion are colored in a cell color selected from a bright color and a dark color and, when cell units are distinguished by colors, a color of the extended cell 2b is distinguishable as the cell color. The sub-cells 10 are selectively colored in the bright color or the dark color within such a range that the proportion of sub-cells 10 colored in the cell color is not lower than a prescribed proportion. At least two kinds of information of cell level data to be recorded by a coloration pattern of cell units and sub-cell level data to be recorded by coloration patterns of sub-cell units are recorded. |
