Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, apparatus and system for detecting an anomaly of a terminal device. The method comprises: a PGW acquires abnormal event triggering information of a terminal device, the abnormal event triggering information comprises at least one of the following: an abnormal event triggering condition and configuration information of an abnormal event trigger; and the PGW determines, according to the abnormal event triggering information, that an abnormal behavior occurs on the terminal device. In this way, when the terminal device performs a behavior indicated by the abnormal event triggering information (for example, a service-related behavior beyond a specified scope, and an anomaly related to damage of the terminal device), the PGW can detect an abnormal behavior of the terminal device, so that a terminal device manager can acquire abnormal behavior information of the terminal device from a PGW node. |
