PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To temporarily store input data in a memory and then efficiently read out and output the data from the memory.SOLUTION: A copier 1 includes: a scanner image processing unit 11 of an ASIC 3 that acquires image data of a processing object that is input line by line from a scanner 6 for each line synchronization signal; a data transfer control unit 12 that temporarily stores the image data in a memory 4, reads out to transfer the image data to a plotter 7 via a plotter image processing unit 13, and outputs the image data from the plotter 7. Even when the size of a document to be read by the scanner 6 is unknown, or the number of lines in one page is unknown, the data transfer control unit 12 sets, as a read-out timing of the image data from the memory 4, a timing at which the read-out of the image data from the memory 4 does not overtake the writing of the image data in the memory 4, before reading out the image data. |
