PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood vessel pressing device that can reduce a radiation exposure dose to which medical workers are exposed during treatment and easily adjust pressures applied on blood vessels in a treatment area.SOLUTION: A blood vessel pressing device 1 includes a ring-shaped member 2 and a plate 3 for supporting the ring-shaped member 2. The plate 3 has a through-hole 3b at the central position, and the ring-shaped member 2 is fixed onto the plate 3 concentrically with respect to the through-hole 3b. By holding both end parts 3a of the plate 3 by an operator and pressing a treatment area 5a of a patient by the leading end of the ring-shaped member 2, the blood vessel pressing device is used in embolo/sclerotherapy for vascular malformation. Thus, medical workers hold the plate 3 supporting the ring-shaped member 2 that is pressed on blood vessels and then perform medical treatment, which reduces a radiation dose to which they are exposed. In addition, the medical workers press the blood vessels with the ring-shaped member 2 through the plate 3 without directly operating the ring-shaped member 2, and therefore they can easily adjust pressures applied on the blood vessels and hardly get tired even after using the blood vessel pressing device for a long time. |
