A temporomandibular joint sports mouth appliance consisted with soft and rigid materials. A polyethylene fused to polyvinyl formed to an upper and lower sports appliance for protecting the teeth and jaw from oral trauma while correcting the bite. A U-shape molded in the upper and lower teeth to be fitted firmly inside the athlete's mouth to serves as wedges and the rubberized and plastic component to repositioning the bite registration on the temporomandibular joint sports mouth appliance to be held at the dental clinic attended by a professional dentist specialize in temporomandibular joint for precision and correct fittings either the upper or the lower teeth, therefore heating the occlusal bite area of the appliance and guiding the athlete's jaw to bite on the protruded correct position of the jaw and let the occlusal bite area set harden while the athlete bite position creating bite lock for stability of the jaw manipulated by professional dentist. Protruded jaw position creating more protect the teeth and jaw from trauma and also correcting the jaw by biting to the appliance to register the correct position with a bite lock by the rubberized material forming much better airway and relax jaw muscles. |
