The invention relates to a system for inspecting lines, pipes and installations in general, both on the surface and underwater, involving the positioning of a polyethylene pipe, of high density and variable dimensions, inside which a metal cylinder or torpedo is transported along the entire length, and which runs parallel to the installation that is the object of inspection, together with a launching base and a magnetic carriage or inspection device which, positioned externally over the parallel pipe, is displaced following the metal cylinder or torpedo along the parallel pipe by means of the magnetic effect, via the propulsion transmitted thereto by the water pressure, controlled by the different valves arranged in the launching base, and characterised primarily by this method of propulsion via the water pressure, thereby achieving a greater effectiveness at the lowest possible cost in the systems for inspecting aquatic and sub-aquatic lines |
