Disclosed are a hybrid tire cord, which is not only easy to produce but also applicable to an ultrahigh performance tire by having high strength and antifatigue properties, and a production method therefor. The hybrid tire cord according to the present invention comprises: a primarily twisted nylon yarn of a first twist direction; and a primarily twisted aramid yarn of a second twist direction, wherein: the primarily twisted nylon yarn and the primarily twisted aramid yarn are secondarily twisted together in a third twist direction; the second twist direction is the same as the first twist direction; the third twist direction is opposite to the first twist direction; and as for the hybrid tire cord having a predetermined length, the length of the primarily twisted aramid yarn is 1.005-1.025 times the length of the primarily twisted nylon yarn after the secondarily twisted yarns are untwisted. |
