Provided are a message transmission method and device, which relate to the technical field of communications and can reduce access delay to ensure message transmission quality. The method comprises: after a data stream is received, classifying messages in the data stream according to a pre-set rule, to obtain at least two types of messages; adopting an interleaving mode to process the first type of messages, and adopting a non-interleaving mode to process the other types of messages other than the first type of messages, the priority of the first type of messages being a first priority, and the first priority being higher than the priorities of the other types of messages; and transmitting the various types of processed messages to a receiver.
