Disclosed are a method for processing a device trigger message, a network element of a bearer network, an M2M node and a system, which relate to the field of communications. The method comprises: receiving a device trigger authorization request which is sent by a CSE and comprises an identifier of the CSE (S110); according to the device trigger authorization request, sending a device trigger authorization permission to the CSE (S120); receiving a device operation request instruction which is set and sent by the CSE and comprises a device operation attribute value pair (S130); according to the device operation request instruction, conducting an authorization check on the CSE (S140), so as to acquire an internal identifier of a trigger device and routing information thereabout; and according to the internal identifier and the routing information, sending a trigger request message to the trigger device (S150).
