PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding door, equipped with a runner with a double-wheel structure, that has a simple structure so as to reduce costs needed for manufacture, and is reducible in total cost by making a guide rail small-sized and compact at the same time.SOLUTION: A folding door includes an upper guide rail 2, a suspension wheel type runner 6, and door panels P1, P2 suspended by the runner 6. The runner 6 comprises a runner shaft 13, and an upper roller 14 and a lower roller 15 which are supported by the runner shaft 13 independently rotatably. The guide rail 2 comprises a rail body 8 and a pair of front rear rail walls 9. The runner 6 has the upper roller 14 supported by one rail wall 9 when the folding door is opened or closed, and the lower roller 15 tilting on receiving tilt moment is supported by a roller receiving part 10 of the other rail wall 9. Consequently, the runner 6 held in a tilt attitude is moved to be opened or closed following up the opening/closing action of the folding door. |
