[Class 95] A cementitious paint comprises a mixture of cement with an aqueous solution of rock salt of at least 5‹ BeaumÚ strength. Portland cement and alumina cement are specified, and optional additions are fine sand, mineral rock, brick dust, fine sawdust, iron oxide, chromium oxide, and a waterproofing ingredient. When applied to wood, the surface is previously treated with an aqueous solution of rock salt, of at least 5‹ BeaumÚ strength, and when applied to brickwork, stone, or the like, the surface is previously soaked with water. The paint may be applied to metal surfaces, e.g., of iron, without previous treatment. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to U.S.A. Specification 1,994,438.
