The changeable protective element for excavating equipment, such as excavator tooth, comprises a front end engaging excavated material, and a rear end comprising an installation part with a hole covering a support structure secured to the excavating equipment, wherein the hole has a first part extending through the installation part in the first direction being direction of insertion in the installation part of the wedge and a lock system part intended to hold the changeable element of the support structure, and the second part passing only partially through the installation assembly in the said first direction, wherein the installation part has a collar located in the second part of the hole transversely outwards from its first part and in parallel with the second direction at right angle to the first direction. The installation part is made such that it can hold in place the bushing partially installed in the second part of the hole, thus preventing its movement in the second direction, and its collar can hold the bushing in place in front of the wedge insertion in the hole. Additionally, the installation assembly for the excavation equipment is disclosed, which is intended to secure the said protective element on the support structure. |
