PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for forming an image, which achieves all of extremely superior low-temperature fixability, high hot-offset resistance properties and good storage stability and can form a high-quality image for a long period of time.SOLUTION: The toner for forming an electrophotographic image includes a crystalline polyester resin (A), a non-crystalline resin (B), and a composite resin (C) including a condensation polymerization resin unit and an addition polymerization resin unit, shows a molecular weight distribution in which a main peak is present from 1000 to 10000 and a half-value width of the main peak is 15000 or less, and contains a chloroform-insoluble content. When the toner stored at 45°C for 12 hours is measured by a total reflection method using a Fourier transform IR spectroscopy measurement device, a ratio C/R, where C is a peak height of a characteristic spectrum derived from the above (A) and R is a peak height of a characteristic spectrum derived from the above (B), ranges from 0.03 to 0.55. |
