A device for induction cooking is configured so that the deformation of the bottom wall of the device body which occurs in the thickness direction of the bottom wall can be easily controlled during the heating of the device, and thus the device for induction cooking can be stably heated. A device for induction cooking is provided with a device body (100) consisting of a non-magnetic material, and also with a metallic plate (200) consisting of a magnetic material and joined to the bottom wall of the device body (100). In the device body (100), the center portion of the bottom wall gently protrudes upward in the thickness direction when the device is not being heated. The metallic plate (200) is composed of divided metallic plates (210) which are disposed so as to be divided or substantially divided in the circumferential direction of the device body (100). Linear recesses (310) are formed on the device body (100) at positions thereof at which the gaps (220) between the adjacent divided metallic plates (210) are located. |
