A method for managing hardware resources in a multi-core system, and a corresponding multi-core system. A plurality of cores in the multi-core system are configured to operate hardware resources in a peer-to-peer way. One core among the plurality of cores comprises: a shared structure generation module, configured to generate a shared structure comprising a plurality of resource nodes when it is determined that the shared structure is not generated, and initialize node information about all the resource nodes, each resource node corresponding to one hardware resource in the multi-core system; and a hardware resource operation module, configured to access a target resource node, corresponding to a target hardware resource, in the shared structure in an exclusive mode when the target hardware resource is operated, perform, according to node information about the target resource node, corresponding operation, and update, according to an operation result, the node information about the target resource node. Therefore, a communication interface between two cores is simple, and the present invention is applicable to a multi-system service with a mixed-mode ratio. |
