PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for indwelling a stent into a bifurcating pipe.SOLUTION: A balloon 1201 including a stent 1202 and a balloon 1203 including a stent 1204 are shown. The balloons pass through an expanded stent 440 along guide wires 410 and 420, respectively and advance into a side branch. The balloon 1201 and a first kissing stent 1202 are positioned within a first branch 120A, and expand the balloon 1201 to expand the stent 1202. The balloon 1203 and the second kissing stent 1204 are positioned within a second branch 120B, and then expand the balloon 1203 to expand the stent 1204.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12A |
