PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which producing a full-model for a breadboard model and testing the breadboard model cause increase in cost of manufacture and test of the model, and in development time period.SOLUTION: Firstly, in an array power feeding reflector antenna having a phased array power feeding part and a reflector, only some elements of the array power feeding part are manufactured to obtain a partial trial manufacture array. An emission pattern of this partial trial manufacture array is measured. Next, the obtained emission pattern is repeatedly applied to the remaining array power feeding part to calculate a primary emission pattern of the whole array. Then, a secondary emission pattern via the reflector is calculated as a far field. Amplitude adjustment and phase adjustment of a beam forming network driving the array power feeding part are performed until the secondary emission pattern forms a predetermined shape, thereby optimally setting a power feeding parameter. |
