PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve deformation performance of a brace in which a concrete part is filled inside a steel pipe part.SOLUTION: In a brace, groove parts 9 are provided on both end parts of a material axis direction of a steel pipe part 2 and a concrete part 3, an attachment part 5 is fitted in each groove part 9 so as to form a space part 6 between the attachment part 5 and a depth part 9a of the groove part 9, and the attachment part 5 and the steel pipe part 2 are coupled to each other by welding 14. The attachment parts 5 are then installed on both end parts in the material axis direction of the steel pipe 2 and the concrete part 3 so as to form the space parts 6 between the steel part 2 and the concrete part 3, which reduces axial force applied to the concrete part 3 and thereby improving deformation performance of the brace 1. The space part may be formed between tip end faces of the brace 1 and the attachment parts 5 in a manner that the grooves are not formed on both ends in the material axis direction of the steel pipe part 2 and the concrete part 3, the concrete part 3 is recessed further inward in the steel pipe 2 than end faces 10 of the steel pipe part 2, and recessions provided in the attachment parts 5 are fitted to the outside on both end parts of the steel pipe part 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
