Disclosed are a method and device for combining minimum isolation bandwidths, which relate to the technical field of communications and can solve the problem that resources of a communication system are wasted by a wider isolation bandwidth when two adjacent communication systems are combined. The method of the present invention comprises: determining an insertion loss and a port isolation degree of a combiner; calculating a total isolation bandwidth of an isolation band in the combiner according to the insertion loss and the port isolation degree; determining a protection bandwidth adjacent to the isolation band in a combining system, wherein the combining system is composed of at least two communication systems combined through the combiner; and calculating an actual isolation bandwidth of the combiner according to the protection bandwidth and the total isolation bandwidth of the combining system. The present invention is applicable to calculation devices.
