PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand rail that suppresses vibrations and resonances by inserting a damping material into a vertical grid to prevent generation of an unpleasant sound.SOLUTION: In the hand rail which comprises: top and bottom metal lateral frames 2 and 3; a plurality of vertical grids 4 that are made of a metal hollow extruded member and arranged between the lateral frames 2 and 3 while having a required space therebetween; and a damping material 5 for preventing a sound squeak having a cylindrical body or a bar-shaped body that is inserted into and arranged in the vertical grid 4. |
