1. An implantable pacemaker, comprising:
a first housing enclosing a first pulse generator configured for delivering first pacing pulses to a first heart location via at least one first electrode carried by the first housing; a second housing enclosing a second pulse generator configured for delivering second pacing pulses to a second heart location spaced apart from the first heart location via at least one second electrode carried by the second housing; and an elongated electrical conductor having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end coupled to the first housing and the distal end coupled to the second housing to tether the first housing and the second housing together, the elongated electrical conductor comprising a signal line configured to carry an electrical signal between the first housing and the second housing.
