The present invention can be used in the oil and gas industry and relates to a method for modifying and delivering proppants (propping agents) during well operations, in particular hydraulic fracturing and/or gravel packing. By modifying the surface of a proppant using an emulsified treatment material, the invention makes it possible, in the case of hydraulic fracturing operations, to provide the efficient delivery of proppant deep into remote regions of a fracture and also to provide the non-uniform distribution of proppant by means of particle aggregation, and makes it possible, in the case of gravel packing operations, to maintain circulation of a proppant suspension for the uniform deposition of proppant in the requisite locations in a wellbore. The present invention is intended to solve the problems of creating: a method for modifying the surface of a propping agent during well operations; a method for delivering a propping agent into a subsurface formation; a hydraulic fracturing method; and also a gravel packing method. |
