PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which prevents damage to a sealing part of a glass tube due to overheating of metal foil of a trigger member, in a flash lamp device including a flash lamp, the trigger member arranged along a light-emitting tube so as to extend between a pair of electrodes in the light-emitting tube, and a base disposed at an end for fixing the flash lamp and the trigger member.SOLUTION: A trigger member 3 comprises: a glass tube 31 having a sealing part 33 formed at least on one end; a conductive member 32 sealed inside the glass tube; and metal foil 34 electrically connected to the conductive member and embedded in the sealing part. The trigger member has a bent part at one end on the sealing part side. The bent part is inserted into a through-hole formed in a base at an angle to a light-emitting tube 21 of a flash lamp. The metal foil of the trigger member is arranged at a distance from the light-emitting tube of the flash lamp. |
