Provided are a data collection method, device, and system, used for automatically obtaining a user's sport interests. The data collection method comprises: a sport information collection device obtaining a user's sports data (101); analyzing said user's sports data and determining the user's sport preferences according to said sport data (102); sending the user's sport preference information to a server, so that the server determines according to the user's sport preference information other users corresponding to said sport preferences (103). It is thus possible to automatically obtain a user's sport preferences.
