PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retainer for roller bearing and a roller bearing, which perform control of an amount of a lubricating oil passing through the inside of a bearing, keep the lubrication of the bearing excellent, and can adjust so that a proper amount of lubricating oil passes through the inside of the bearing.SOLUTION: A retainer 20 made of resin for conical roller bearing is equipped with a small diameter annular ring portion 21, a large diameter annular ring portion 22, a plurality of pillar sections 23 which connects the both annular ring portions 21, 22. The pillar section 23 has a pair of circumferential direction side faces 25 having respectively roller guide faces 27, and an inside inner circumferential surface 26 whose circumferential direction width is smaller in the large diameter annular ring portion 22 side than in the small diameter annular ring portion 21 side, and has a roller holding area Ar in which an outer diameter side pocket width W1 and an inner diameter side pocket width W 2 between the circumferential direction side faces 25 in which the adjacent pillar sections 23 face opposedly are made smaller than a roller diameter D. |
