The present invention provides an image display device, an image display method, and an image display program, whereby it is possible to efficiently display a long image. An image input interface (31) acquires a long image, wherein a display size upon the display screen (22a) in a first direction is longer than a screen size of the display screen (22a) in the first direction. A segmented image generation unit (41) segments the long image into a plurality of segments in the first direction, and generates a plurality of segmented images (45) wherein the display size is less than or equal to the screen size of the display screen (22a). A display control unit (42) displays, upon the display screen (22a), at least one segmented image (45) which is selected from among the plurality of segmented images (45), and correspondence information (55) which denotes which portion of the long image the selected segmented image (45) corresponds to. A PC (16) is capable of efficiently displaying the long image upon the display screen (22a). |
