PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cost-reduced overspeed determination device capable of implementing stable control.SOLUTION: Rotation speeds NEa and NEa for abnormality determination are calculated from rotation speeds detected by two sensors. If the two sensors are normal (S21; NO and S22; NO) and conditional expressions V≤NEa and V≤NEa are established (S23; YES), an alarm is outputted for overspeed generation (S24). If the conditional expressions are not established (S23; NO), operation is finished without outputting the alarm. If one sensor is abnormal, the rotation speed for abnormality determination of the normal sensor is adopted and compared with Vto determine overspeed (S25, S27, S26 and S24). Abnormality in an engine rotation speed is detected on early stage and a vehicle can be promptly and surely stopped in a safe state. |
