Disclosed are a network switching method and apparatus and a mobile terminal. The method comprises: a conversion module, configured to convert an activated state into an idle state if a network switching request is received under the activated state; and an execution module, configured to execute network switching after the activated state is converted into the idle state. In the present invention, when a mobile terminal in an activated state is required to perform network switching, the mobile terminal is forced to enter an idle state, thereby enabling the mobile terminal to complete the network switching. The present invention is not required to wait to convert an activated state into an idle state during network switching, thereby increasing the efficiency of the network switching. |
