PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile information terminal effectively restricting the use thereof, and further to provide a control method thereof and a program.SOLUTION: The mobile information terminal includes: authentication information storage means for storing authentication information; authentication information input means for inputting input information for authentication; concordance rate confirmation means for confirming whether or not a concordance rate between the authentication information stored in the authentication information storage means and the input information for authentication input by the authentication information input means exceeds a predetermined value; authentication control means for changing the predetermined value; and terminal lock control means for restricting a predetermined function or operation or cancelling thereof. When the predetermined function or the operation is restricted, the terminal lock control means cancels the restriction of the predetermined function or the operation if the concordance rate between the authentication information stored in the authentication information storage means and the input information for authentication input by the authentication information input means is confirmed to exceed the predetermined value by the concordance rate confirmation means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
