PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a state of charge of a chargeable/dischargeable storage element.SOLUTION: A battery pack comprises: a CS that includes a voltage measurement circuit for measuring a voltage value V of each electric cell; and a BM that includes a memory for storing a first correlation information table showing a correlation between open-circuit voltage of the electric cell after charging and its SOC, and storing a second correlation information table showing the correlation between the open-circuit voltage of the electric cell after discharging and its SOC, and that includes a CPU. The CPU in the BM uses the voltage measurement circuit of the CS to measure the voltage value V after charging and discharging an assembled battery (S7), selects either one of the first and second correlation information tables from a fluctuation tendency of the voltage value V (S14 or 16), and uses the selected correlation information table and the detected open-circuit voltage to estimate the SOC (S20). |
