PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzer capable of smoothly performing measurement.SOLUTION: An automatic analyzer comprises a plurality of first processing units for measuring a mixture of a sample and a specimen, a second processing unit other than the plurality of first processing units, a measurement control section 210 which executes measurement, a storage section 230 storing beforehand power consumption information including power consumption of each of the first processing units, power consumption of the second processing unit and allowable power consumption, and control means 215. Upon receiving an operation instruction of the second processing unit, the control means 215 calculates total power consumption of the power consumption of the first processing units and the power consumption of the second processing unit on the basis of the power consumption information. The control means 215 determines whether the total power consumption exceeds the allowable power consumption. When the total power consumption exceeds the allowable power consumption, the control means stops operating any one of the first processing units and operates the second processing unit. |
