PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode catheter including an affusion mechanism capable of preventing that excessive cauterization (an excessive temperature rise of a tissue around a tip electrode) occurs in time of cauterization treatment.SOLUTION: An electrode catheter includes: a catheter shaft 10 formed with a lumen 15 that is a flow passage of a liquid for affusion; a control handle 20 connected to the base end side of the shaft 10; a tip electrode 30 connected to the tip side of the shaft 10, imparting cauterization energy to a tissue in a body with which the surface contacts, and disposed with a plurality of openings 32 for jetting a liquid supplied from the shaft 10 in at least a part of the surface; an injecting tube 40 for supplying the liquid for the affusion into the lumen 15 of the shaft 10; and a hydraulic pressure gauge 50 measuring a pressure of the liquid jetted from the openings 32 of the tip electrode 30. |
