PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating device capable of smoothly discharging, out of a rotary drum, granules in the interior of the rotary drum via a discharge member such as a discharge plate, etc., of performing a safe and efficient checkup operation, etc., and of inhibiting, in a case where a treatment gas is fed into the rotary drum interior via a mouth ring unit from an aperture unit on one terminal side, the turbulence of the flow of the treatment gas by the rotation of the discharge member.SOLUTION: The anterior terminal portion of a rotary drum 1 is constituted by a cyclic mouth ring unit 1d. An anterior terminal aperture unit 1e is configured on the anterior terminal of the mouth ring unit 1d. The inner circumferential surface 1d1 of the mouth ring unit 1d is formed as a conical surface having a progressively expanding diameter toward the forward side. A discharge plate is configured in the interior of the rotary drum 1. Granules in the interior of the rotary drum 1 are guided to the mouth ring unit 1d by the discharge plate based on the rotation of the rotary drum. The granules guided to the mouth ring unit 1d, furthermore, are discharged out of the rotary drum 1 via the anterior terminal aperture unit 1e after having been guided by the inner circumferential surface 1d1 of the mouth ring unit 1d. |
