A method for visually representing attributes, physical characteristics or compounds of an article or substance is provided. A map of geometric shapes is used to represent the primary or dominant attributes, physical characteristics or compounds of the article or substance, wherein each attribute, characteristic or compound is represented by a particular shape and/or colour, and wherein the relative proportion of each attribute, characteristic or compound is represented by the relative sizes of their designated geometric shape. |
