PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a sensory quality at the time of a sight line change in partial high resolution distribution.SOLUTION: When distributing video data to a user, in accordance with a video distribution method, in all the video data, high-resolution video data is distributed regarding a partial video image including a current presentation region that is a video region to be presented to the user, and low-resolution video data is distributed regarding the other partial video image. The video distribution method includes: a head posture acquisition step for acquiring heat posture data of the user; a presentation object prediction step for predicting a video region that the user is to visually recognize; and a presentation position control step for determining the timing to transmit a high-resolution distribution region including the current presentation region from the head posture and the video region that the user is to visually recognize. In the presentation position control step, the timing to distribute the high-resolution distribution region is determined in such a manner that a transmission delay width of a video image becomes small if a distributed high-resolution distribution region being present in a head posture transition direction is wide and that the transmission delay width becomes large if the distributed high-resolution distribution region is narrow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
