PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic trip device and a circuit breaker in which the operation time in a motor starting current region is slower as compared with a prior art, and the operation time in a low over-current region and a short-circuit current region is the same level as the prior art.SOLUTION: A cylinder 1, a plunger 2, a brake spring, a pole head 4, an electromagnetic coil 5, a yoke 6, and armature 7 are provided. A magnetic material piece 8 is provided between the yoke 6 and the pole head 4, is connected to the yoke 6 and extends from the yoke 6 to the pole head 4, thereby delaying the operation time in a motor starting current region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
