PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for providing a medical device with excellent operability.SOLUTION: A catheter 100 includes a tubular body 10 in which a main lumen 20 and a sub lumen 80 that are arranged around the main lumen 20 and extend along the longitudinal direction of the main lumen 20 are formed and an operation wire 70 which is disposed inside the sub lumen 80 and has a distal end fixed on a distal end of the tubular body 10. The operation wire 70 has a circular cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, or the operation wire 70 is a twisted wire constituted of a plurality of thin wires having a circular cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The cross-section of the sub lumen 80 (80a, 80b) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is formed into a flat shape that is flattened in the circumferential direction of the main lumen 20. |
