<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pancreatic lipase inhibitor effectively inhibiting the absorption of neutral fat few hours after the administration of a therapeutic agent (after eating), and a method for inhibiting the absorption of neutral fat using the inhibitor. <P>SOLUTION: The pancreatic lipase inhibitor comprises an extract obtained by extracting fruit bodies of king oyster mushroom with water at a low temperature. The pancreatic lipase inhibitor comprises the extract obtained by adding water to fresh Pleurotus eryngii mushroom fruit bodies or Pleurotus eryngii mushroom fruit body powder dried at ≤90°C and extracting the same at ≤50°C for ≥10 min. The pancreatic lipase inhibitor is used as an additive to food, a drinkable preparation, a tablet, a capsule, granules, a powdered drug or a lozenge.
