PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proof fitting structure for a thermal insulation cover against exhaust system components in which it performs superior absorption of vibration of exhaust system components, it shows high durability, its number of components is few, its structure is simple and its price is less-expensive.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a vibration-proof fitting structure for a thermal insulation cover against exhaust system components in which the thermal insulation cover 3 for covering exhaust system components is connected to the exhaust system components C through a buffer member 7. The buffer member 7 is made of thinner metallic plate than that of the thermal insulation cover 3 in its plate thickness, the buffer member is constituted by a central connecting part 10 fastened and connected to the exhaust system components C, an outer circumferential connecting part 11 enclosing the central connecting part 10 and connected to the thermal insulation cover 3, and a plurality of resilient arms 12 integrally connecting between the central connecting part 10 and the outer circumferential connecting part 11. These resilient arms 12 are formed with a bent part 12a enabling each of the resilient arms 12 to be flexed and extended or shrunk. |
