摘要 The present invention shortens the lighting-off period for measurement with a probe while eliminating the complicatedness of an operation and implements good light emission of lighting regardless of an endoscope while lighting is on when in vivo image capturing and measurement with the probe are performed by using the probe inserted in an endoscope channel. A lighting means for image capturing by an endoscope is provided in a probe (30), a lighting control unit (18) which controls the light emission of the lighting means and an input interface (16) to which a video signal of an image captured by the endoscope is inputted are provided in a base unit (1), a solid-state light emitting element (an LED for lighting (19)) is used as a light source of the lighting means, and the lighting control unit controls the light emission of the solid-state light emitting element (controls the pulse width and phase by PWM control) on the basis of the video signal inputted via the input interface. A measurement control unit (12) performs control for turning off the lighting means when measurement with the probe is started, and turning on the lighting means when the measurement is ended.
