The invention relates to an RF Tag 1 for a container 10 with liquid "A" having an insulating gas gap "B" between the top of the liquid and the top of the container. Tag 1 comprising a head 2 supporting an antenna 3, a tail 4 adapted to overlie and capacitively couple with the liquid, a resonant loop 5 between head and tail, and a chip 6 adapted to be powered by the loop. In use the tag is interrogated by a tag reader to read information about the container and/or liquid contents. The head, antenna, tail and loop are preferably formed as a single sheet of material. |
