The present invention relates to a refining method of olanzapine. In addition, the present invention provides a refining method for helpfully producing high purity olanzapine. The refining method of olanzapine comprises the steps of: a) obtaining olanzapine by crystallizing the olanzapine in a mixing solvent of methylene chloride and water; b) separating the olanzapine by making the olanzapine react with base in the presence of water.
