The present invention relates to an electronic device and a power saving method of an electronic device configuring an ad-hoc network. According to a variety of embodiments of the present invention, a remarkable power saving effect can be achieved, compared to a power reducing technique based on wireless standards, and a compatibility problem of a power saving mode generated in the ad-hock network can be solved.
