Anti-theft device and method for manufacturing such a device

The device has a textile hollow strap (2) comprising a connection wire that extends between upper surface (2a) and a lower surface (2b). The connection wire delimits two longitudinal sleeves (7, 8) of respective axes (l1, l2). One of the sleeves retains a metal elongated element (10) while the other sleeve retains an elongated multi-filamentary wire (11). The metal element and the multi-filamentary wire are placed along the longitudinal axes respectively. Number of wires per cm on the upper and/or lower surfaces delimiting the former sleeve is smaller than that of the latter sleeve. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an anti-theft device.
