A method for assembling an automatic transmission case comprises: machining an axial passageway (17) inside an end cover of a front case (24), the axial passageway (17) being in communication with a clutch oil passage (16), and the axial passageway (17) and an oil supply hole (18) being located on the same axis; aligning teeth on adjacent clutch friction plates (12); plugging the oil supply hole (18) and the axial passageway (17), an air filling passageway (22) of a dedicated tool being in communication with the clutch oil passage (16); filling air into the clutch oil passage (16); a piston (15) pressing the adjacent clutch friction plates (12) tightly; matching an input shaft (1) with an input shaft hole (2), an output shaft (5) with an output shaft hole (6), a clutch hub (11) with a clutch friction plate (12), a rear case (25) with a positioning apparatus on the front case (24) separately; fixing the front case (24) and the rear case (25); taking down the dedicated tool; and sealing and plugging the axial passageway (17). The clutch friction plate (12) with teeth and the clutch hub (11) can be aligned as long as gas pressure is used, so as to maintain that the clutch friction plate (12) is fixed and is not dislocated, so assembly of the front case (24) and the rear case (25) becomes simple and the accuracy rate is high, thereby improving the work efficiency and effectively reducing the repair rate. |
