PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trunk structure of an automobile capable of easily taking in and out a storage object of a digging-in recess, when expanding the trunk room volume placeable in the digging-in recess, in a trunk room for providing an opening part in an upper part.SOLUTION: A digging-in recess 7 is formed on a rear floor panel 6 over a lower part 16b of a rear end panel 16 from the rear of a rear cross member 15, and a rear wall trim 22 forming a rear end surface of the trunk room T comprises a rear wall lower surface part 23 formed along a lower part 16b of the rear end panel 16 and a latch storage part 24 for swelling to the trunk room T-front from the rear wall lower surface part 23 and storing a latch unit 5 in the rear. A lower surface part 24a of the latch storage part 24 and a front wall part 7b of the digging-in recess 7 form a mutually opposed inclined plane, and the lower end of the lower surface part 24a of the latch storage part 24 is provided above the upper end of the front wall part 7b of the digging-in recess 7. |
