PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molten fuel takeout device capable of safely taking out molten fuel accumulated on a bottom of a reactor pressure vessel and a bottom of a containment vessel by remote control operation and securing criticality safety when taking out the molten fuel and storing it thereafter.SOLUTION: When molten fuel is pulverized by a rock drill 60, while operating a suction pump 46, ground products flow, along with water in a reactor pressure vessel, to a first vertical pipe 43, a bent pipe 45, and a second vertical pipe 44, and are collected by a basket 47. In this case, an offset arm is rotationally moved, a rotation plug is rotated, and further, the offset arm is vertically moves to thoroughly pulverize and suck the molten fuel. In the meantime, a neutron absorber 51 is supplied from a neutron absorber hopper 50 to the basket 47 and mixed with the ground products at an appropriate ratio. |
