The present invention provides a useful examination method and diagnostic reagent, which are capable of diagnosing acute lung injury in clear distinction from chronic progressive interstitial pneumonia. Specifically, the present invention provides a method of determining whether or not a test subject is affected with acute lung injury, which comprises quantifying heat shock protein 47 in a biological sample derived from the test subject. |
